The U.S. Department of Homeland Security ruling that allowed U.S. citizens to travel by air in the Western Hemisphere using a State Department proof of passport application ended Sept. 30. Effective Oct. 1, all persons traveling by air between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean must present a passport (or other valid travel document such as Sentri, Nexus, Fast or U.S. Coast Guard document) to enter or return to the U.S. More information at travel.state.gov

Thanks for the heads up.

My DS just got his passport back uncompleted. They said the person at the city hall which accepted all the info wasn't authorized and the whole thing had to be redone. What a pain since he is away at college till thanksgiving.
