  • New York Jan 1

My brother is getting married New Year's Eve. They want to go to New York City for their honeymoon. I told them that timeshare in New York, one is a long shot, and second, they most likely can not afford it.

I told him he needed to go ahead and just book a hotel room.

I always stay in timeshares, I need a recommendation for a good website for him to go to to look for a reasonable priced hotel room in New York City. Can anybody help?

    Thanks

Is there no chance of getting the Manhattan Club for January 2? If they stayed somewhere else on December 31 and January 1?

I am just not sure they can afford the MC. I have passed on the Priceline info and links to him. Thanks for all the suggestions.

          Any others out there?

Oh, looks like they will not get to NY till the 2nd

January is one of the lowest cost months in the city, and arriving on the 2nd, after the crowds are gone, should be a big help. I would use Priceline, but wait until much closer to the time.
