Another Passport Processing Update

My renewal took less than 10 days las month, and today I received the passports for both of my daughters which we applied for 10/5, so only 13 days and these were new applications. We did NOT use the expedited service this time either, so I am very glad I didn't pay all of that extra money to expedite.

Received my passport today

It took 42 days for mine. I thought maybe there was something wrong with my background that I didn't know about since it took my wife something like 9 days and my son 12. These were for first time passports, not renewals.

We had super fast service, too.

Sent our renewals off regular main on Wednesday, October 3 and had the new passports back on Saturday, October 13. This was not the expedited extra cost service.

Both my BIL in CT and friends in ME. received their new passports in about 2 wks without expedited service. I was quite surprised. My girlfriend stated that the guy she spoke to said if she had applied 1 month earlier; the process would have been much longer. All of them applied in Sept.

Got mine in 10 days with no expidite
but then sent for my wifes and still no answers in 30 days
