We are going to GM NV for 1 week alone!! YAY!! Then my mother, father and daughter are joining us for a week. I need to know about a crib and possibly a highchair for her when they are with us. Can I get them from the resort (they are not answering my ?'s). Also, should I be concerned about a car seat for the taxi from the airport? I have read terrible things about people getting bumped - what are the odds? I would be so sad, my husband would be very mad!

Are your ignored messages emails? If so, just call them. It is easy and they are very helpful. The phone number is on your confirmation sheet. I called them before we went last week. Easy and not too $$.

I have not heard any new story's about the bumping which does not mean it is not going on but it happened to our members they would have posted. Cabs there are a great way to get around but I don't think they have child seats. The restaurants all have high chairs.

Make sure your parents have notarized permission to cross the border with your child. I wonder if you will be there when my family is there. We are checking in next week, 11.16.07.

Thanx for your advice. We will be there Dec 2-16. It would be so great if there was someone else there that I met in advance. The first week will be great as my husband and myself have never had a real vacation together. And the 2nd week will be sooooo fun having my daughter there as she is a very energetic and georgous red head that loves to steal peoples hearts. Gee I sure will miss her for that first week.

I absolutely LOVED this resort - it is so nice - beautiful units, wonderful service - and this time of year they should be having some Spa specials.
I was in Acapulco GM in Oct and we got 2 massages including tip for $110 USD.
Check the first day you arrive as the special was for Monday and Tuesday.

I hope to return to NV in January 2009 thru SFX - will keep my fingers crossed.

As BF said, the 'bumps' that occurred were RCI exchanges - and it was for a specific high season period.
I haven't seen any in the past year or more, I think it was Feb/March 2006.
I would not worry about it.
