RCI/II airline ticket purchase

Has anyone ever used any of the travel related areas of such companies as RCI or II to purchase airline tickets?
I'm looking for airfare for next spring and the airfares seem so high....more than usual.

II used to save me about $100 per ticket on American, but the last few times I've called the fares have been the same as through the airlines. I used RCI once for airfare, never again. My flights were changed and I never got notified, missed the flight and RCI was able/willing to do nothing.

We have used RCI Points about 10 or more times the past several years seeing that we get a fair amount of those points at a fairly low price.

We like Glitter have flights changed but we were alwaysgot notified and did not miss any flights.

First call early and if they give you a time you do want like. call again in a hour or so as the flights can sometimes change very quickly and some of the help is far better than the others.

I have used both RCI and II and check with them to see if they can beat the lowest price that I can find. Most of the time their fares are the same or even higher, but sometimes they get bulk rate air and I have saved as much as $100-$200 per ticket so it always pays to check with them.

It's been more than a year since the last time I used either RCI or II for airfare so I'm not sure if they still have any good deals available.

I used RCI Points once. I actually could have saved about $100 by just purchasing the ticket outright, but I had points that were going to expire.
