Anyone flying Northwest in the next few months?

Northwest has a new promotion called The Great Race, in which Worldperks ff members form teams. The team captain is an existing WP member and his up to two team members are either new WP members or ones who have not had miles credited in their WP accounts since Jan. 1, 2006. The captain and members each get thousands of bonus miles from the flying that both they and their team members do, up to 20,000.

The upshot is that I need a couple of team members who will be flying on NWA before the end of May in order to form a team. I will personally have at least 10-12,000 miles of employer-paid travel during the promotion period that will count for bonus miles. Anyone interested?

I have no idea what you talking about but yes, I would be interesed. I have been an existing WP member but my wife is a new member with 0 miles on her account. We'll be flying NWA next saturday from ICT to PHX. This will be our only flight on NWA in your timeframe so we might not be the best selection for bonus miles.

It seems like those tickets have already been purchased. One of the rules is that the tickets have to be purchased after the teams are registered. On my ticket, I have the advantage that our travel office won't get around to buying the ticket for several weeks yet. If she expects any other NWA travel through May, though, it might work for that.

In that case, we don't fit your needs. I purchased these tickets around 9 months ago. We normally avoid NWA as their flight plans rarely work out for us or their fares are just to high from our hometown airport.
