I vote for a West Coast Cruise, or a Las Vegas gathering. Either of those interest me. In fact, the Ladies on Vacation group is doing a 4-day West Coast cruise in March.
Hey, that's an idea...how about a west coast cruise *and* Las Vegas? Its only a four hour drive or so, or a short plane ride...people could do one or both.
I know, y'all are mostly right coastal, so its not likely to happen.

I think preferably it should be a west coast because then I can come. I have to fly all the way from Sydney, Australia so West is as far as I can make it I think. In fact, the whole family will be in the U.S. in July 2009 but if we can't make it for then, I may be able to come just on my own.
Is that OK? I'm really sorry Easties but you guys have had it too good for too long with most of the gettogethers based there.
So who's interested in a west coast gathering now??? Could you East Coasters take a flight over please???Syd

The Caribbean is nice, but it's off the best coast !

A cruise sounds great. I'm sick of housework. Especially since we've been busy unpacking boxes and cleaning after moving from Melbourne back to Sydney last week.
Are July cruises absolutely out of the question price wise? Does anyone know. Before I seriously research, is anyone interested in July or would another time suit? Or even somewhere else?
You can all meet here in Sydney. Too far and too many hrs on the plane? Wimps!!!Syd

I'm up for something westcoast as long as it is south based and I can see Dad &/or leave DS with.
If we are talking summer 09 I can combine it with my Hawaii plans.
That is if Frank doesn't mind another blonde on the trip.
I do intend on hooking up with some of our SCal friends while I'm there in July this year.Lawren

Someone take charge and get it together. I am free in March but that is not enough time to get a big trip going. IMO June or after Summer would be better.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

I don't know if I can do anything West Coasty, because flying cross-country is...ughhhhh. There it is, it's ugh, I hate flying.
Sounds good to me. I mean the cruise to Alaska (I think some leave from San Francisco), not that you probably wouldn't do a west coasty thing.Luanne
