Southwest is LAX (Los Angeles). Jet Blue is Long Beach. If you are going to use Southwest, either Long Beach or San Pedro (Port of Los Angeles) works.

I can't commit to anything summer 2009 until I know when our family vacation will be.

I meant west <California> and South Cali because that is where my Dad is. But am amenable to all suggestions. If someone is wanting to do some cost comparisons. I have no knowledge of cruises. Never been on one. So this project is definately someone else's to run.

The other thing is we can take up Kapish's suggestion and get together at a worldmark resort. We own WMSP.

Or we could do both so that more people can make one or the other, or even both.

I'll fly just about anywhere, even Australia! I don't care where it is as long as it's not too expensive and I have vacation days. Now if it's in 2010, I'll be retired so I'll have plenty of time but no money!

Which resort? What week so I can start to try and make plans. Need to get vacation from my job, wife's job , the get the resort, airline tkts etc.
Must not forget the wine and cigars for Frank!
