TS4Ms cruise or vacation?

I'm up for something westcoast as long as it is south based and I can see Dad &/or leave DS with.

If we are talking summer 09 I can combine it with my Hawaii plans.

Which resort? What week so I can start to try and make plans. Need to get vacation from my job, wife's job , the get the resort, airline tkts etc.
Must not forget the wine and cigars for Frank!

OK, how about we aim for sometime between the 11th July to 1st August. Tony and Frank already said they want to go so and a few others so I'll just check out some cruises for then in the meantime. We'll probably need to check out some timeshares eventually if more want to do that option. I have no more RCI spacebanks and am letting the account expire Dec08. I can deposit some more and keep it going if needs be. Maybe we can do a timeshare in Las Vegas, California, where else? You guys know the U.S. suggest someplace where we could get mass timeshares.

I'll just check to see what ports are on the West Coast.
* There are cruises out of Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.

Anyone interested in a TS4MS cruise or even a prolonged get together, like a week at some timeshare? If we plan it far enough in advance, there's a good chance that many will be able to make it.

I want to do an Alaska cruise really bad but, they are usually very expensive in the heart of summer, not something everyone could do.

If we're talking west, how about Tahoe? Lots of timeshare opportunities there.

I volunteer to get anyone that can't get their own exchange a cheap timeshare rental at Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort, in line with MFs + exch fee for a Studio or 1BR, 2BRs a little more.

lol. Just did a search and there are no cruises to Alaska then anyway. So shall we stick to July and organise a timeshare and maybe a cruise to nowhere, like Catalina or Mexico for die hard cuisers?

As you found out, they don't go there and you wouldn't want to in Winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

As much as I love cruising, I voted for the ts trip. My husband would insist on accompanying me on the cruise and I'd honestly rather do something like this w/o worrying about entertaining him. I work with him every day and have not been apart from my kids- not even one day- in five years. My husband has his hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, etc. vacations. I'm due for a getaway. Tahoe, Vegas, New Orleans, wherever!

Of course I'd love to see Las Vegas if we were doing a timeshare thing. I've done that with a group before. Its easy because there are so many resorts and so many things you can do. Tahoe has better weather, of course, but its a long drive for me and folks from So Cal. So Cal probably isn't good for a timeshare thing cause the resorts are too spread out and difficult to get in the summertime.

I vote for Las Vegas. Probably centered around WorldMark and Wyndham Grand Desert I'd guess. Oh, and the Modena residence.
