  • Just got a great Priceline deal on a hotel in Toronto!

I have to share! Two rooms at $62 each in mid-August in Toronto...at the four-star Sheraton Centre Hotel! YES!

It's right downtown and the TripAdvisor ratings are excellent. So happy! (I looked on Hotwire first, where a four-star hotel was offered for $65 a night...so I knew there was something available.) If you look the hotel up on Expedia, the rate is $232 per room per night.

My best PL deals were $45 a night for the Westin St Francis in SF and a few times Atlanta 4 and 5 star hotels for $40.
Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

Wacky I'm impressed. Someday, you will need to teach me .
Y'all will enjoy the Falls and the area --all the more so with a cheap quality hotel.

        Show-off! Just kidding.

I've gotten $40 four-star deals in Pittsburgh, but generally four stars in major cities hover around the $60-$70 mark at best. Also we're usually traveling in high season, because of the kids' school schedules.

We need a couple of nights in Niagara Falls and I hate to tell you how much THAT will probably cost!

No problem, I would be happy to! Although maybe Frank would be a better teacher....

A couple of years ago, I got the Marriott Eaton Centre in Toronto for $35 a night. Also got the King George about a year ago for that price. If you know how to use Priceline, it's a great resource for travel.

That's an amazing deal! It's right downtown across from City Hall and you could spit on the Eaton Center from there! Good job!

So, are you going to Toronto just because you got the great deal, or is there another reason?

My "bests" so far this year are for a boutique hotel in San Francisco for $70.00 in April, and three nights at the Marriott on the waterfront in Portland, OR, also for $70/night (I think).

We're staying at Lodge at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie, Ontario, the following week. That's about an hour from Toronto, so we thought we would stay in Toronto for a few days before.

I've been hitting PL once a week for the past month for the Hyatt Regency DFW airport for 60 a night, plus they validate airport parking and since the only place to park a semi is 14$ a day

Just got a 4 star in Scottsdale for Bike week for 100$ a night, their web deal was 279.00. Next year I'll be timsharing it
added full size rental car for the BF to go visit his parents in Yuma for 15 a day and hit a sale on Alaska Airlines for 198 RT each. Shipping the bike for free, helps that I pull for an airfrieght co. that specializes in motorcycles. Cheapest trip to Bike week in years.

Yay, Priceline! I love the whole bidding process, too.
