We recently took out a policy with TravelGuard for a Getaway week we had purchased for September for Harborside, so it was an expensive Getaway. We were going with friends who were concerned about hurricane season so we opted to take insurance; otherwise I likely wouldn't have. Anyway, my Dad unfortunately died in December and I won't be traveling this year. I was very impressed that TravelGuard quickly paid the claim without any aggravation, once they received the necessary documentation, despite the time factor.

Of course, Interval was very happy- they got to resell that expensive Getaway so they made out very well.
