  • Airlines - schedule & rates

How far in advance do the airlines post their schedules and rates? I thought it was a year, but in looking for Cancun flights for Memorial Day Week of 2009, they are posted yet.

I believe it's 330+/- days which is the same as when the airlines release FF seats.

Pat's right, only certain airlines post less than 4 months in advance. Southwest does not follow the 330 day rule and I believe USA 3000, I don't think anyone knows when they post.

I thought that I had seen a count-down calendar, but can't find it. Does anyone know of one? Where I could put in the ending date and see when 330 days falls.

Lawren, what a great link this is. Is it in our link forum already? I booked our ff miles to Maui next year but had to keep the return date open for a few days because it wasn't available yet. It was a gamble as you don't know if you can get FF miles or not but you can cancel your reservations if you can't get the return flight with FF miles. Did you know that?
