I don't believe any of the airlines apply their baggage charges to either elite members, business class or first class passengers. Our timeshare and other photo's at http://dougp26364.smugmug.com/

Legacies are behaving more LCC's all the time. United Airlines, meet Ryanair!
Behaving like LCC's without the cheap tickets maybe. More and more I find myself looking toward Airtran, Frontier and Allegiant for our trips when I can.Our timeshare and other photo's at http://dougp26364.smugmug.com/

LCCs and Legacies will be meeting one another much closer to the high end of the fare range barring a collapse in the oil market, I'm afraid.

We were able to get FF tickets for 35k to Hawaii and were lucky to be able to do it. Now we are trying to figure out the baggage issue.
Since we are traveling before August 18 there is no first bag charge.
Still trying to figure out how much if any they will charge for a boogie board bag with two boogie boards in it. They list practically everything else but boogie boards. Even calling them and asking was not helpful as they are confused. Sheesh."If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.... If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."
-- Thomas Jefferson to Col. Yancey, 1816
