Three years ago, flights from Peoria (PIA) were close to $1000 to Honolulu, and only about $550 to Cancun. I have targetedCancun for winter vacations due to the airfare. Checking tonight for January 2009, I'm finding $850-900 to Cancun, but to Honolulu is $900-1100. Hawaii has become comparatively more affordable for my future consideration.
