I have to get my act together for our Hawaii tickets. I need an additional 10k miles. I could buy from UA but the bargain hunter in me says someone here might have some.
Anyone?

Lawren, not that I have any UA miles to sell, but how can you purchase them from another individual? I know Southwest credits can be used for anyone, but with UA when I use them I have to purchase the miles using my credits. I haven't seen a way to transfer miles to someone else.

Okay. You know, I think I did this for younger dd. I thought maybe I had purchased additional miles for her, but thinking back, it may have been a transfer. Well sorry, I still don't have any extra miles to sell you. We'll be using them for our trip to Hawaii next summer. Now, who was supposed to bring the mai tai mix, was that you or was that me?
Lawren,
Email me at nurselaw@att.net I have plenty and we can do it the cheapest way, either buy or share.
Let me know your account number and password, I think.
Glad to do it.

PS I am going to lie down for a bit. I had school this a.m. and then I drove 50 miles to pick up my Mum's 87 y.o. "kid brother" and take him to see her. He brought his spoons along and played them (you know, putting 2 spoons together and hitting them against your knee) along with the hits from the 1940s for 40 miles R/T.
We had a nice visit with her, but those spoooooonnnnsss ! Aaarrrgggh.
You can call me if you'd like.

I am the pina colada queen. You are in charge of the Mai Tais! You know it's getting closer when we are getting ready for the FF stage. WOOHOO!

Lawren,
I am going to PM you my UAL account number and password.
Feel free take as many as you can/want. I have about 76k in there, but much more in AA & USAir which I must use up first.

I sent an e-mail. Would rather you do it than me. 10k is all I need to top up for the 3RTs. I really appreciate your generosity.
Without the super TPI trades and FF tix I sincerely doubt we would be going at all.

I have my calendar marked with the date when I can get our seats.
Older dd will celebrate her 21st birthday while we are there. She is already looking forward to the mai tais. [STRIKE]Luckily[/STRIKE] unfortunately you will be gone by then.
