When looking at Boltbus v. Megabus, keep this in mind:
Boltbus doesn't have any customer service phone line. Megabus does (though I haven't used it).
DS recently lost his confirmation email (actually said he never got one), I couldn't log back into "my account" to retrieve the information, he showed up at the bus with his ID as per the instructions on the website -- the driver and ticket guy were less than helpful, the bus left while DS was still trying to straighten out the mess. He ended up buying a ticket on Fung Wah to Chinatown instead. I just bought him a ticket on Megabus to get back, but am certain I'm out the $37 from Boltbus. We both wrote to the customer service email addy a week ago, didn't get a response from either.
I'll contest it when the bill comes through on the credit card, but won't use Boltbus again. Too bad, I hear the buses are nice.
