I swear it is partly because of warm winter and the gas companies are not getting it from our houses so will raise the rates for gasoline for our cars.
1010WINS was just reporting 2 days ago that oil had fallen a bit per barrel because supplies were good...
I'm not seeing anybody getting responsible about this. Still plenty of beyond big SUVs in our neighborhood shopping lots and on the roads.
I'm grateful that I get between 25 & 30 mpg especially since I will be running up to New Hampshire on Sunday.Lawren

My husband uses mass transit each day ( so did I when I had to commute to NYC). My best friend and I always car pool when possible, even if it is just going out locally for some pizza, vut definately when we go up to ride the horses ( thats 60 miles round trip). LOL I was late to the TS4M luncheon BECAUSE I was car pooling!
I also do my best to schedule my chores in the same areas so that I am not running aimlessly around the county.
I've always done that though. It is not a behavior that is being caused by gas prices; or maybe it is having been thru the late 70s gas crises with alternate day fill-ups and lines winding for blocks. It would also explain why all my cars after that point being fuel efficient.Lawren

Just paid $2.63 per gal today at United Oil independent station nearby....Costco is usually the best deal around here."If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.... If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."
