A TS Sales Manager bragged about getting 'double airline points.' He says he charges purchases to a card with airline points THEN pays that card with a DEBIT CARD with airline points.
This was the first I heard of debit cards with airline points. He had a Bank of Hawaii Debit Card with Hawaiin Airline points. I called and they said "as long as the payment requires a signature you get the points."
Then I noticed that CitiBank had send me information about a Debit Card with American Airline points.
I'm out of the US until April so it is hard to call on the phone for more information. Does anyone have experience with this. Since I usually pay my credit card bills automatically, I guess I'd have to figure out a way to make the payment require a signature?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
