One good side of the recent economic situation is the strength of the dollar. In checking XE, the euro was at $1.28, the pound at $1.63, and the rand at $0.09.

When it hit $1.65 to the pound, I paid my UK maintenance fees. Saved about 20% from when I originally planned to pay them. Doubt it will go much lower.

The Australian dollar has also hit the skids. For those who bought SA and OZ timeshare to take advantage of the exchange rates, it looks like the old days are back.

It was only a few months ago that the Canadian Dollar was worth more than the US Dollar.
