I wasn't familiar with Budget Travel but after seeing this at the bottom of the page I realized I did know them a bit.

Make sure you check the facts in the article. Some of them are 6 years old or more and things have definitely changed since then.

Budget Travel magazine was great when it first started out. I subscribed for several years. But after Frommer sold it, it has not been the same and I let my subscription lapse. It still has some good information, though.

I still have a subscription since it is so cheap. I agree the content has degraded some but it still has some pretty good stuff. Since it costs me $20 a year, it is still worth it.
