  • Which site do you use for cruising.....

My parents celebrate their 40s anniversary this year. I mentioned to them I have a week that I probably won't use and they can have. Of course they say they want to go to Alaska or Yellowstone. Could they pick harder trades?

So, I have decided to pay for an Alaksan cruise OOP for them.

I think having found trip from Seattle or Van Couver would be a bit easier on the pocket for flights. Also would love for them to get to see the Hubbard Glacier but noticed not a lot of iteneraries go there.

Anyway - I'm going OT - which site do you use for the best cruise pricing?

Someone recommended this web site to me. Also good for reviews and comparing.

I used buycruises.com after checking many sites. My daughter got the best deal on smartcruiser.com. I think you have to check them all.

Thanks for all the input - I have been playing around with cruise411 all day....and came to the conclusion that I WANT TO GO TO!!!!

There is no way I can get my DH to take yet another week vacation this year. I have unlimited - but he doesn't.

He said to me a few weeks ago when I was trying to get him to go somewhere other than Disney for his Bday "you can go where you want to go for your Bday - I want to go back to Disney".

Well June 2010 I will be 40 - guess where I have decided to go. Yep, back to Alaska!!! Will also invite all family to join and make it a big trip.

As for my parents - well, they can settle for Yellowstone for their anniversary (they wanted to do that anyway.)

Very excited about my new plan - even better.....my brother knows Yellowstone inside and out - he will plan their trip!!!

Before you decide do yourself a a favor and read the reviews (expert as well as members) on Cruises, Cruise Reviews and Cruise Deals - Cruise Critic It will help you decide which cruise line fits you - much better than just picking one because of price or itinerary.

                    I've used cruisecompetedotcom.

Post what you'd like and 3-4 TA's will compete for your business.

Probably the best site for general Info on Cruising. Rummage around there to get a good idea about the whole experience. Thay also have many sponsors who will be good to contact.

                      Cheers
