Does anyone know of any good car rental companies that give long term rental
discounts? Gonna need a car for at least six months.

Enterprise has long term rentals

I usually send people to Car Rentals from CarRentals.com and then tell them to go to the home site of the lowest car rental you like.
Then sign up for their frequent rental program and many times you'll immediately get upgrades and other perks.

In your situation I would join the Enterprise corporate program and they will give you good discounts for over 30 day rentals. Six months should qualify for deep discounts.

Long term car rentals in a search engine may produce good results depending on where you are starting the rental process.
Beware of restrictions on where you can go in the USA.
Some rentals require you to stay in a limited geographical area.
For example a rental in Seattle through Enterprise allows WA, OR, ID, NV and CA but not AZ or any other state. Let us know what you find.
