I wonder if I have a flight that I booked 2 months ago but not flying for 6 months from now If they will charge me? Is this also for first class passengers as well?

The ticket has to be booked after a certain date AND flown after a certain date for this new fee to apply. It also looks like elites are exempt.

But once again, Delta is leading the race to the bottom. I wonder how long it will be before others follow.

Unfortunately SW doesn't fly across the pond. CO, UA, AA, and US, however are still free for the second bag across the pond.

DL, as usual, leads the race to the bottom. If others do not follow, they will probably rescind, but too often others do. One airline that used to regularly fail to go along and stop some of DL's crap was NW, but now DL has taken them over, so that won't happen any more.
