Beginning August 1, Deutsche Bahn, the German railroads, have started selling a new cross-country ticket for €34 each, and for a group, additional members up to 4 are €5 each.
The tickets are good for travel on any IRE, RE, RB, or S-bahn trains or combination thereof, in the country, but not IC or ICE, from 9AM until 3AM the following morning.
