My son wants to go to Point Pleasant by NJ transit tomorrpw, Does any one know if the train leaves you close to the broadwalk?

Frank I have only been there a few times (more of a Jones Beach girl) but don't recall train tracks or station within walking distance to the beach. I could be wrong I'm old and have been retiring a few braincells lately.

I think I remember seeing the train station and it's a long walk to the beach from there, but doable.

I looked it up on Mapquest. Here's what it looks like. Should be no problem for a young guy--it's only a long distance for lazy me!

I live and work in the area. I would say its a 10-15 minute walk..not bad at all especially for a young person.

Thanks all, Because the weather was not good they did not go. But at least now they know how far it is for when they do go.
