SEA Airport Rental Cars

We are flying into Seattle Airport the middle of October for a week at Birch Bay. I have been looking at rental car options and the best so far has been Hotwire. Does anyone know if there are any problems taking rental cars accross the border into Canada?

Check with the rental company. They all have different policies. One company I forgot which one, maybe Alamo or Dollars charges extra.

We went in August with Avis and did not have any problems. I contacted customer services first. Per their instruction, all I had to do was to tell them when checking out the car that I was planning to take the car into Canada.

National also did not have any problems.
