  • Southwest question

I had to cancel some Southwest flights last summer because of my wife's eye surgery. I recently used those ticket credits to purchase tickets to NO. It looks like I will need to reschedule that trip because of family issues. Is it possible just to cancel those then rebook when we can go as long as we fly before the original ending date of the credit? IF not, what should I do to not loose the value of the tickets?

Yes, I think you can cancel and re-book and not lose the credit as long as you use them before the original expiration date.

Yes, that is correct. I have had to do that a couple of times.
