But the sheer nonsense the salesperson tried to tell me? That would have been a lot harder to prove. Which I would guess is why dishonest used car sales people - and dishonest TS salespeople - continue to thrive, at least to the point where they create a negative image for the whole group. With that particular used car lot, even the owners were dishonest; but places where the owners are honest are still working within an environment where some of their employees consider lies S.O.P.
