Timeshare By Owner
Well I got sucked into a resale pitch. 
It all made sense at the time however Timeshare By Owner did not come through and I forked over $2300+ to list my timeshare weeks. That was last November and not one nibble.
I spoke with someone else about this and they informed me that, according to the FL Fairshare Act, where Timeshares By Owner is located, I am entitled to a refund if my week(s) are rented out by myself or another agent before they do. I was told to get a signed lease and a copy of a money order and send it via certified mail to them. Reportedly if they fail to refund me then they are subject to a $35,000 fine. So I rented some time to a friend, got a signed lease and money order and did as instructed.
I got a reply yesterday stating that they deny a refund because, under the conditions of the contract, I have to ask for a cancellation within 7 days.
Well I am not asking to cancel under the conditions of the contract. I am asking because the weeks were rented out prior to when they did.
For sure I did not expect them to hand over the refund. I know they are side-stepping me. However I need some advise on how next to proceed.
