I report calls of this type all the time and never hear anything back. It's good to know that it's not a total waste of time.

The article says the companies were fined. It doesn't indicate that they actually paid anything.

The article does say the companies were served and never responded; the judgments were entered by default. I suspect that the companies will simply ignore the fines and continue doing what they're doing. If the heat starts getting applied, they will close down their current operations and resurface with a new company, still doing the same old thing.

I got one yesterday from ITN, But I was able to get him to tell me this time that there was an upfront fee, Took me a few minutes as he was avoiding my question.

I have a large 65" TV that shows all calls to our home. Everytime one of these places calls I do turn it in to NO CALL!

I do not know if its the reason but have noticed calls stop within few days after I report them.

Before I would see same numbers for weeks at a time in afternoon or night time and now they do stop!
