Has anyone dealt with a resale company RCI (Resort Connection International) to buy or sell a timeshare? I was contacted by them to sell my timeshare, but I can't find out much about them.

That plus the OP's placement of the question in the Horror Stories threads tells me that the answer is probably pretty evident to everyone!

The first advice is to avoid paying any type of upfront fee.
The second bit of advice is to avoid paying any type of upfront fee.
The third bit of advice is to deal with a respected brokerage who does not charge any type of upfront fee..
Much will depend on your property. Send me a private message and I'll be happy to give you a realistic idea of what the resale value is (or is not depending on the timeshare itself). You may want to consider placing a classified on this site as well- but start by just getting yourself familiar with the secondary market and some of the most common timeshare related scams that are out there..my travel website: Vacation-Times.org.
