Am considering joining Gold Crown Resort, based in Florida. Anyone have knowledge or advice about this company?

Rings a bell but I'm not sure why. If it's a vacation/holiday club I would be highly sceptical.

What have you been told so far?
      What do they provide?
What does it cost to join, per year, per week?
This is a reputable Club, only you can decide if it's right for you.

Is this the company that promises you discounted

        travel weeks?
They appear to be very good at working to find units for their clients. I have no idea what they charge or what it cost so I can't tell you if it is a good deal.
        What is their program? Greg

Thank you all for your replies. My daughter did some research for me this morning, which does not make for good reading.
On the face of it, Gold Crown Resort would appear to be OK apart from a couple of questiones. Unfortunately, their retail agents ( affiliates) in parts of Europe,-- UK&Spain, are as bent as a seven pence piece. On advice, I checked out Holidayclubtales.co.uk - Beware the scratchcard touts when on holiday., Timesharetalk forums, holidaywatchdog forums and Complaints Board.com and several other websites. They all give dreadful reports of people being conned.
Needless to say, I won't be joining.

I would always be very suspicious of a company using a name which misleadingly suggests an association with either of the big t/s exchange companies. "Gold Crown" in the name is, in my opinion, there purely to suggest an association with RCI.

Then I guess it was good that you posted this to the horror story forum.
