I knew it was just a matter of time before some first time posting shill came out defending the company. I was actually suspicious of Christine's post right from the begining and would bet it was just part of the set up. It would certainly fit the pattern.

One rebuttal against my better judgement...

I have a thing about new posters promoting a questionable company and I've also had some problems with the ethics of timeshare involved dentists- the last one was a shill poster and shill bidder on Ebay. I find it to be a bit suspicious that someone who got out of a timeshare would suddenly wander into a timeshare forum and make their first post praising a questionable company and Eric Fitz that profile.

I also find it is very interesting to have a some people claim he is a dentist, go find this site joint today and post the 1st post and claim like he has looking this site for a while and know what kind of people this site has while claim he has personal experience with the question company, and know all the detail about that company.
Against my better judgement I am going to address a few comments that were made (as indicated above). First tonyg: again speculating and drawing conclusions based on nothing but supposition. For example you'd be surprised how many people who own timeshare only read without posting. I still own by the way. I got out of my Wyndham but I still own another timeshare that is paid for that I somewhat enjoy. The fact that I saw an opportunity to help someone and decided to make a post means maybe I felt I had something to offer unlike you who seems to have a comment for everything but has nothing to say. By the way it is interesting that your website links promote vacations for sale and I have to be honest it seems like a conflict of interest if you use this site to promote your own ecommerce.
Next is Chap7 who seems to think that it is easier to believe that this was a conspiracy to promote The that the company might be credible and a good option for some people. That seems crazy to me. It makes me think that he is a plant from a timeshare company set up to post negative comments about any opportunities that may come up to stick it back to unethical timeshare sales offices.
Finally Jya-Ning who I thought at first was at least humble in his post but then he too became accusatory and critical based on nothing but speculation. I think it is unfair to judge anything or anyone that you have had no personal involvement with. In someways I see this as a defense mechanism of those who have been jaded and I do understand somewhat but at the same time we have to have some sense of resposibility to those who come here looking for legitamate answers and help.
I will probably not post again and that is probably what the timeshare companies want. It's funny how expansive the lies are that permeate this industry and how there seems to be a secondary line of liars set up by the timeshare companies to support the first line of lies at the resort or to at least keep people questioning the truth and thus getting nowhere. No wonder we are so confused and negative as a consumer group...Kinda sucks.

It's interesting that everyone has something to say even if they don't know what they're talking about. This company saved my wife and I a lot of money so to see them thrown under the bus doesn't seem fair. None of you have had any experience with them but you're all speculating the worst. Calling them scumbags and liars without even knowing them is pretty sad. Typical of the negativity I find here alot. I usually just read and never post but I felt I had to speak up.
We were well past our rescission period (about 1 year) and I was fed up with Wyndham/ Fairfield They offered a warranty that said if they didn't do what they said I'd get my money back and they went to work on our case immediately. They don't approach it like an attorney would. Interestingly enough they guided us through the right way to prepare and present the information so that it scared the resort into taking us seriously. They helped us with details that proved misrepresentation and fraud. Details we kind of remembered but couldn't articulate. We worked with Scott and Michelle and they were extremely helpful and nice. They did all the paperwork for us and even contacted the Resort. I did pay $999.00 but that was the best money I ever spent.
A couple weeks later The Quality Control Manager from the resort called us and asked us some questions about what we had written then someone from the Legal Dept. at Wyndham called us and apologized and we were released from our contract. Mind you the sales rep tried to talk us out of cancelling and so did his manager but we let Scott talk to them for us and they didn't call back. We had to promise Wyndham not to send our other letters to the other agencies that The Owners Advocate had prepared us to talk to.
What I gathered from Scott and I'm no lawyer but I am a Dentist so I think I have some intelligence (except for when I bought my timeshare) was they misrepresented the product to us, made false promises to us, intentionally misled us and based on the info Scott helped us prepare they released us from the contract and refunded our money. Honestly it was stuff I think they knew from being in the business before and they knew how to relate it to the powers that be I guess. Anyhow I am off my soap box. I just think we should state facts to help each other and try not to speculate just in case we might be wrong.
Maybe Christine really needs some help. I know we did.
Erik
Erik your opening statement hardly made a good first impression on a group of people that share their communal knowledge at no cost to anyone in an effort to help.
IF this company does indeed provide a contract with wording that they will refund the $1k upfront fee then it may be something to be considered going forward. I am glad you found them and I am glad they were of help to you.
If that is the case I thank you for actually posting for Christine and joining TS4Ms. I hope that you will enjoy everything we have to offer here and continue to contribute.Lawren

Next time go with the better judgement. I promote the e-commerce of honest friends and sites. Two of us have been on timesharing forums for around 10 years and have seen many con artists come and go. We know not to trust anyone selling new timeshares or selling or promoting selling ways to get out of them- particularly in their first few posts. I wish I had the time to check Tennessee's state website to see if there really is a dentist licensed there with your poster name.Originally posted by Erik Fitz[I]

Too bad you didn't call him a Maverick, too.

If they are so certain that they can get you out of your contract perhaps they should only get paid on the back end and not upfront. If they are legit, they would probably get a lot more business this way."A man that doesn't spend time with his family, can never be a real man" The Godfather

Since this has come up again, let it be noted that according to their website this outfit operates out of California and the original poster posted from California. They claim that they are not lawyers and don't give legal advice.

Good Luck to everyone who has been taken by this shady company!

Dear Pastor, Erik et al,
Please email me with the particulars of your refund. I have a fax and would really appreciate seeing what documents reversed the deal with a 100% return of your investment. Amazing.
By doing this, you will be doing a good turn for all of those who have been taken by shady salespeople.
Please PM me or email me. Just click on my user name you'll see the link to the PM and/or my email.
This way, too, we'll know you're on the level as you are a person of the cloth, yes ?

I received a PM from ATG that was sincere with avenues to assess credibility.
I will share vitals from it with those who would like to know via PM.
The only thing that makes me very wary is the upfront money/monies required. This has been a hallmark of "take the money and run" tactics, historically speaking.
I leave the evaluation of this company up to the customer.
Still, caveat emptor.
