Here is a link to a press release issued this week by the Missouri Attorney General regarding a settlement with Festiva Resorts over false and misleading sales practices: Nixon reaches settlement with broker selling Branson timeshares; Festiva to pay $324,393 restitution, $15,000 in penalties and costs

Festiva is the company that bought Equivest Vacation and Travel Club and the former Peppertree Resorts last year. I converted my EVTC membership to Festiva's Adventure Club last year.

seems like they now put all the blame to the sale company. On the other hand, it also kind of admit it does not care about the product nor the potential customer in that period.

You know, I realize there are TUG sympathizers helping out here, so discussions of this nature don't go very far, but the thread linked to is just what POs some TUG users.

The Head Hauncho publicly criticizes a veteran TUG contributor for challenging FestivaRep's self-serving posts. The person being criticized by Head Hauncho disappears (Huh?). The criticism of Festiva gets worse, by several others, and there is no discipline or behavior lectures meted out.

So, ya don't think discussions are controlled and manipluated?

It sure says a lot when FestivaRep (over yonder) disappears from the board for a couple of weeks without answering all of the questions she promised to answer, but quickly pops back up to defend Festiva when the report of the MO AG settlement is posted and tries to shift the blame to an outside contractor.
