I participate in the Equivest-Peppertree Group on Yahoo. Festiva purchased our system from Wyndham a year ago. An owner at the Festiva Atrium resort in St. Maarten posted the below bankruptcy notice regarding Festiva Resorts Int. N.V. on our Yahoo forum. The owners of the timeshare intervals at Atrium have a lawsuit against Festiva over maintenance fees. I assume this bankrupt company is an affiliate of Festiva Resorts.
NOTICE OF BANKRUPTCY
By decision d.d. June 16th, 2008, the Court in First
Instance of the Netherlands Antilles, St. Maarten,
declared the bankruptcy of
FESTIVA RESORTS Int. N.V.
appointing mr. R.W.J. van Veen as delegated
judge and mr. F. T. Hiemstra as trustee.
Date, time and place for the first creditors' meeting
are still to be set. All creditors are herewith
requested to submit their claim against Festiva
Resorts Int N.V. to the trustee in writing and with
submission of evidence of the claim ultimately on
July 31 2008, at the following address.
