    Years apart

The first was years before I became knowledgable about these things.
Las Vegas 50$ dinner comp and 2 show tickets.
Last year DVC 100 Disney bucks, change returned in real money.

    Good story from friend.
Last year they did one of the Sunterra cheap weeks out of their entertainment book for Scottsdale AZ for bike week. They own a condo there but since I wasnt able to go to use the other bedroom the left it rented.

As the presentation friend told the lady they owned a condo there and they were just there for the cheap trip no intention of buying.

Lady was not too pushy but did make an effort, first suggesting buying for the ability of trading in network for Hawaii, was told sorry our parents have a condo there,
OK how about mexico, nope brother has condo there,
Caribbean then, sorry friend (me) has a place in Costa Rica,
Sking then, uh nope we have a place in Packwood, (ski area in WA).

Woman got this funny look on here face and told my friend, geez you're your own mini vacation club.

Signed up for a Shell Vacations presentation at a Travel Show. Received $80 Disney dollars + one of those worthless travel certificates. Not the best deal when I view the other postings, but I was satisfied because it was close by (about 15 minutes from home) and we were able to keep it short.

In June 08 we got $200 in Disney cards, $25 in Darian rest., 5 free Medival Times dinner show tickets, 2 gift baskets with food/fake bubbly. and something else, but I forget now. We did up grade our membership/points, but it took the salesman over 4 hours of talking, and I ran the numbers several times, and threaten to walk 3 times. The poor guy still talkes calls from us and passes us to the SalesManager, even this morning... we also locked in the "low" price point "forever", hahahahah-got THAT in writting, even if they don't want to admit it!

I just did a TS tour for Los Abrigados Sedona in 55 minutes and left with 2 helicopter ride vouchers ($140), $20 gift certificate to food, gas, etc. I used it for gas & 2 tickets to the Festival of Lights ($12). For 55 minutes and $172 it was worth it. I have no problem saying NO and if they can't hear me I just say it LOUDER!!!
