I used to buy several of these books and strip the coupons that I wanted and resell the used books on ebay.
Lots of two for 1's at restaurants that I like. Haven't done it in a while but even the car coupons don't expire so it might be worth doing that just to get the car coupons.
I know I used the discount for hotels alot before I got into points redemptions and sometimes it was a great deal like Waikiki for $29 a night at an Outrigger resort.
Even the check in girl thought it was a mistake.
