  • TS Closing Process

I am looking to buy my first TS on the resale market and need some advice.

Have you used an escrow agent? Is so, why and who would you recommend (VA licensed, please)? If not, did you have assistance at all and what would you suggest?

What type of fees should I expect from an escrow agent if used?

Much thanxxx to all the knowledgable TS4MS users ...

Timeshare Transfer is in Florida. If you feel more comfortable using someone in VA, I would suggest contacting Patricia Grossi at Timesharing2000.com for a recommendation. She sells in the VA Beach/Williamsburg area. You don't say in VA where the timeshare you are interested is located. If not VA Beach or Williamsburg, you may want to contact the resort and ask who they use in the area. When I bought Beach Quarters a few years ago, I used the lawyer who handles, or who did at the time handle, closings for Beach Quarters. His fees were reasonable.

I called them up and out of three that I called they returned the call with a reasonable rate and with what I think is the ability to get the job done right. Great suggestion. At first I thought that they would recommend someone but I suppose since the property I am buying is in WBurg right near them they can provide the service.

            Thanxxx, again
