Looking at the public records of Dare County, and checking the same towns I have used in the past, it is clear timeshare resales are still happening and the prices are not that bad. In checking Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills townships for 2011 January to early March here is what I found on resales:
private resales
Kill Devil Hills
RED - 12 resales, average price $3390.
WHTE - 3 resales, average price $133.
