Ebay Timeshare Deals

It seems to me that its gotten harder to find really great timeshare deals on ebay in the last six months or so. It seems you used to be able to occasionally find higher demand weeks at good resorts with low maintenance fees. Now most of the stuff is pretty crappy and I wouldn't take it for a $1.

Have I just become more educated (thanks to sites like this!) or is the market for resales actually improving?

Hopefully it also means that more timeshare owners have become educated, and are no longer falling for the lies told by postcard companies to ensnare them into paying thousands to give away a timeshare that has value.

In the rather limited areas I have been looking at resale prices- prices are continuing to rise (slowly) from their lows in 2009-2010.

We are now saddled with $2000 a year from those $1 deals!!!

Actually, I didn't even pay the dollar(s), that being irrelevant.
