There was a question in another thread about a UK resident wanting to rescind a TS purchase. He had bought in the US and failed to mail the rescinding letter till day 9 when the contract said day 5.
I found a website for TS consumer protection in the UK ( www.timeshare.org.uk ) which has some interesting info. Basically, the consumer laws say it doesn't matter what the contract says, it must follow the UK law if it involves a UK resident. And in the UK and EU, the cooling off period must be 10 days. Also if you used a UK issued credit card, you will get their help in enforcing the 10 day rule.
