Reserving a floating week

This forum (and the other one) are very popular. Clearly timeshare owners are very comfortable using the internet. And we have ordered things from Amazon.

So why do many resorts still require you to call to reserve a float week? It is so retro, it is kind of quaint!

Who is going to grab this business opportunity and move reservations to the internet?

Boca probably has a plan for that.

I don't suppose they can require persons to have computer access to schedule their week and it probably wouldn't be fair to dialup people when they open the "land rush." I bought my first week before there was Internet.
