Exchangin RCI Points for Airfare

Hello,

Live near Toronto in Canada and we are considering purchasing a resale TS. RCI avertises you can exhcange points for flights. I was wondering how many points a typical flight from up North to down South would be? Or any flight information for that matter.

A friend of mine was suckered into RCI Points partly on the premise that you could use points for airfare to Europe. He has only been to London, and a job change gave him more time to explore elsewhere. After a lot of trying, he found that he simply could not get summer air tickets to Europe with RCI Points. The best he could do was late shoulder season to London on one carrier, and he had already been there.

He bailed out of RCI Points.

Since then they have raised the points required for tickets to Europe. That may, or may not make them more availible. I have recently inquired if anyone has been able to get a summer air ticket to Europe with RCI Points, and been met with total silence.
