  • Best way to advertise a Timeshare Rental

I have a prime red week (week 26 - 4th of July) at Carlsbad Seapointe, that I want to rent out this year since we won't be able to use it. This will my first time renting out a timeshare...

What is the best way to advertise a timeshare rental?

    We use redweeks

and myresortnetwork for our rental listings, and we find that Timeshare Rentals, Timeshare Resales, Timeshare Ratings, and Timeshare Reviews - RedWeek.com returns the best value.
There are some free sites, but they don't seem to get the traffic, however Timeshare Rentals Resales Timeshares for Sale Rent Vacation Condos has started to do much better. Greg

      re: timeshare rental

      Thanks for your input...

I have advertised on Bidshares.com for the past month, but haven't gotten any responses.
      I think I'll try the Redweek.com site.

try this site, it is free, and it will give you statistic how many people look at it

You can also try craigslist: san francisco bay area classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events. It is free but only list for 7 days.

Craig's List get a LOT of traffic. I would advertise in the San Diego area, and also in the local area where you live. Be sure to include pictures of the resort. Those ads are always more interesting.

Craig's list is a good one. My sister has rented a condo in Palm Springs for two years from the same owner and is very satisfied.

How far out from the rental check in is it good to advertise your rental in Las Vegas for New Years?

Don't know. I think it is hit and miss thing.

But I believe redweek charge for 6 month, so if you use it, you can put it now.

vacationtimesharerentals is free for 6 month, and it has statistic of how many people see it.

craigslist has different schedule, I believe in big city it is 7 days, so it may make difference, you may want try Los Angle, and your home town and Las Vagas.

Perry has a post in Tug talk about his experience. I think he say something about 3 months. You may want to do a search on it.

You can look at the eBay rental list see how far majority of rental goes in that city.

Bidshare you probably can put longer, I guess it can start at 3 month period.

                  Good Luck

Rick, I wouldn't post email and phone# in open forum. Anyone can communicate with you by PM and if you altered your profile they could email you through the BBS w/o you divulging your email address tot he world.
