Timeshare at Hanalei Bay Resort

I have a every other year floating timeshare, one bedroom and I have looked at a few sites and its hard to tell how much they sell for. Where to sell? I have had it for ten years, none of my kids want it, and I am ready to do other things and don't want to join interval again and do all the transfer stuff.

I was thinking of asking the sales people at Hanalei to buy it back because they sent a letter out last year asking if anyone wanted to, but we thought we would have one more vacation there next summer first.

Does anyone here know anything about that resort and selling it?

I own a couple of intervals at the resort. I haven't sold any, but I can give you some ideas on value if you PM or e-mail me. Just click on my profile.

As for the resort selling your timeshare, it was my understanding that they were only doing that for 2BR units. When I was there last December, I was told at the owners' meeting that the developer had sold all of the 2BR intervals and only had about 70 1BR intervals left to sell. They don't have an interest in reselling 1 BR intervals as long as they have them in their inventory.
