Bonus Weeks in sales contract Resale

Just a quick reminder Many buers have bonus weeks you may inherit when you take over their contract from when buying resale

The post card companies or other companies are unaware of these weeks when they put them on the market

Recently I purchased a unit on Ebay and found out after calling the resort that they had bonus weeks built into their contract when they purchased it in 1996

Remember if you are smooth you can call any resort give them the contract number as soon as you buy them.

This is always a good perk. My last purchase I was told had 3 bonus weeks from the post card seller. When I talked with a person at the resort I found out I had 15 bonus weeks and an extra bonus one that is for a 2 bedroom.
Another thing you can find is that there was an unused week from the current or past year that the maintenance fee was already paid. This has happened 3 times for me. The last one was an eoy float week I purchased in Nov. that wasn't used in 06 and they allowed me to bank it with II giving me the last possible Dec week I was allowed that just beat the flexchange period.

Also be aware that some contractual bonus weeks end when ownership is changed.
