Considering a Re-sale Club Intrawest membership

New member to this forum and to the idea of timeshares. Please help me know what to consider before purchasing a Club Intrawest membership. I see very little information about CI in particular. Any reason for this?

Well,I'm not quite sure how to answer your question.Club Intrawest has 8 locations w/FIVE of them being ski destinations across Canada,1 in Palm Desert,1 in Zihua Mexico and 1 in Sandestin Florida---Where do you live? We live in Vancouver and bought from the developer in 1998 when we didn't know anything about resales then.Have you stayed at any of their locations yet--- We love the units because of their design,decor w/the European flair and the attention to detail on the finishing touches.One should only buy the membership mainly to use since the price on the resale market is still around $80p/p and you'd need 150 pts min. to go anywhere during high season.If you're talking about VALUE,for that price you can get other hotel based timeshares which may have more locations in the US.....If there're anything else you'd like to know,I'd be happy to share them w/you---just pm me.
