        So, in the short term, we are still paying the old lease (even though we now own the land...don't ask me) which ends in 2025. So, the $127 will fall off in 15 years. Also, we purchased the land and that means that the $288.24 will go away when our 10 year mortgage on the land is over.

          * Per the resort, ALL OWNERS have to pay their maintenance fees in advance of their use year: RCI accounts pay 13 months in advance, regular Divi contracts pay 6 months in advance and Villas Points contracts pay 10 months in advance.

          This means that for a transfer to occur, the buyer will have to pay the upcoming year's maintenance fees BEFORE the resort will transfer ownership to them.
