Were you just looking to throw away $495 or
This company doesn't sell timeshares, they sell folks such as yourself a package of BS for $295-$495 and list your overpriced unit on their website and it will never sell. There are listings on their site that have been there since 1998.
Please don't pay anyone any upfront money to sell your timeshare.
Do your research as to it's resale value, and then list it on www.bidshares.com, or www.redweeks.com, or here, or www.myresortnetwork. com, or any where that only charges $15-$50 for a listing.
Please read http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44
and then proceed.

- They have your money.
- They don't have to do anything else.

“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”
“You shouldn't wear that body.”

I see you figured out how to post... welcome again to the forums!
As hinted to above, there are lots of companies out there just looking to bleed timeshare owners (or prospective timeshare owners) of their money...
This is a free resource designed to educate people like yourself that you have other options... Try our classifieds if you need to list a unit for sale as an example:
http://www.timeshareforums.com/sr_classifieds.php
No cost and you get exposure... the bigger auctions will get you more exposure but they will cost you...
Good luck & hope you decide to hang out with us!

Run as fast as you can to the exit.....
Run as fast as you can to the exit....and hurry....do not stop at pass/go....do not spend $$$$$....
You are about to get fleeced along with thousands of others who already have....consider yourself lucky you were smart enough to ask about it before spending the money on their trumped up services, empty promises, and inflated fees.
Congrats on doing your homework first.and to the site."If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.... If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."

Thanks for the advice!
Thank you all very much for your sage advice. It's surprising how hard it is to find information about these guys and this kind of service by just googling around. Anyhow, you have saved us $800 as a fee for a rental week. We do appreciate it! I can see how a good marketing company can increase your likelihood of being seen by a prospective buyer or rentor, but it just doesn't seem that they are 'adding' $800 of value to the product. Further, when we got the TSBO literature, it didn't match what we were told in the sales pitch on the phone, so that really raised our hackles. I wonder why nothing came up when I googled 'problems with TSBO', you'd think the names of these companies would be picked up in a search. Anyhow, thanks a whole lot!

Or in lieu of that fee you can just go post a free ad on timeshareforums.com...do it now and get as much exposure as you can.
