I agree with your review. I have stayed here and it is a very comfortable place with great managers. Wish that it were a little closer to the broadwalk, but you can't have everything. Thanks for the up dated review.

In all honestly the fact that it is NOT on the boardwalk is a plus in my book.

The boardwalk tends to be too active for the type of quiet beach solitude I seek here in Hollywood. There are other Timeshares on the boardwalk if you like all the action. There is Hollywood beach tower (too big for me), Hollywood Sands, Neptune, and Hollywood beach resort (way too big for me)if you want to be closer to the action of the boardwalk.

I agree that I wouldn't especially want one of the timeshares on the boardwalk. What I meant is that I wish it were not quite such a long walk just to get to the east most part of the boardwalk.

Yeah it is quite a trek, especially in the summer when it's 100 degrees.

I usually end up driving down there anyway.

Checking in for my week and happy to report that wi-fi is finally working everywhere. It used to only work by the pool but I'm typing away on the porch under the full moon. Life is good.

I'm catching up to you.

Actually this isn't technically a vacation since it is so close to my home. I only consider vacations official when I have to drive more than 2 hours or fly anywhere otherwise it's not an official vacation.

And as for action, I live in the thick of the action so I like being a bit away from it for a week, besides we make our own action here. All my friends drop by to spend the day so truly never a dull moment around here.

Is this place kid friendly?

I'm thinking of booking a week on the beach for my brother and SIL and their 2 1/2 year old.

Would a cute little blondie be welcomed by the pool, or is this more a relaxed adult place?

Lots of kids here this week. Very kid friendly. The pool wasn't built for kids but It's okay to put noodles in the pool, jumping in the water is allowed, lots of sand close to where adults can sit and relax, there is a lifeguard station right next to the resort, the road in front of the resort is lightly travelled and you can track all the sand you want to without the resort police harassing you.

OMG! I can't believe it.
Checked into my week here at EI again and I almost fainted.

We've got granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom.

It's even a thick piece not the thin cheap stuff the developers usually put in but a nice big thick slab. Certainly overkill for this place but you can't say the board isn't trying to keep the place as nice as is possible for an old motel conversion resort.

Every week I'm pleased with the progress.
